Description:

Somec, hand-built in Lugo di Romagna, Italy, is renowned for its exceptional frame-building craftsmanship and extravagant details like the signature tulip cutouts and beautiful pantographs. This classic "Italian Racer" from 1981 features its original burgundy paint with elegant yellow accents. The custom build carefully curates high-performance Italian components from the early 1980s: a bombproof wheelset featuring Mavic MA 2 clincher rims laced to silky smooth Campagnolo Record hubs, stopped by the legendary Modolo Speedy brakes with drilled levers. The absolute highlight is the NOS Gipiemme Crono Sprint aero crankset, which pairs perfectly with the Campagnolo 980 rear derailleur, emphasizing the period-correct "Custom Build" character. A highly stylish, authentic, and reliable classic, ready for everyday riding.

About me

A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.

In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
