A solid classic from Swiss production, the Mairag 2-Star was a popular entry-level bike for sporty leisure cyclists in the 1980s. Its red steel frame boasts a simple design, offering reliable stability and comfortable handling for everyday use or longer tours. Based in Märstetten, the Mairag brand was renowned for its robust construction and affordable prices. The 2 Stern was aimed at beginners who valued functionality and durability. This is an honest vintage road bike frame with regional roots – uncomplicated, classic and charmingly retro!
Condition:
The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. Original paintwork and stickers. Few minor paint damages but no structural problems.

A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.
