Cycles Gitane was founded in 1925 by Marcel Bruneliere in Machecoul, France. Gitane became famous in the late 1950s when Jacques Anquetil won three of his five Tour de France victories on Gitane bikes. Gitane was associated with legendary cycling superheroes Jacques Anquetil, Lucien VanImpe, Bernard Hinault, Laurent Fignon and Greg LeMond, who won a total of 12 Tour de France.
During the company's heyday in the 1970s and 1980s, Gitane created some of the most technologically advanced aerodynamic time trial bikes the world had ever seen.

About me
A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.
In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
