Description:
The Gazelle Champion Mondial A-Frame is a legendary racing bike from the golden era of Dutch frame building. Hand-brazed in the renowned "Rijwielfabriek Gazelle" in Dieren in 1981, it is constructed from premium Reynolds 531 steel (Butted Tubes, Forks & Stays). While the A-Frame was favored by professionals and ambitious amateurs for its versatile geometry and Campagnolo dropouts, this specific build elevates it to the highest standard. It features the technologically groundbreaking Shimano Dura-Ace EX (7200) groupset—the futuristic Japanese answer to European components of the time. Combined with a highly reliable Campagnolo wheelset and headset, this setup represents a perfect, high-end synthesis of early 1980s racing innovation.
Condition:
Used. Completely refurbished and serviced at the RSB workshop in Munich. Frame and fork show no dents or cracks. The original pearl paint shows honest patina, including several paint chips and touch-ups that reflect its authentic riding history without compromising the structural integrity. Mechanically, the bike is in flawless condition. Finished with pristine Continental Giro tubulars, this classic is fully dialed in and ready for the next L'Eroica or the daily ride.

About me
A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.
In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
