Description:
The Francesco Moser 51.151 is an undisputed icon of competitive cycling history, created to celebrate Francesco Moser’s historic Hour Record of 51.151 kilometers achieved in Mexico City on January 23, 1984. This particular frame proudly commemorates his triumphant victory at the 67th Giro d'Italia later that same year, documented by the original seat tube decal. Constructed from premium Columbus steel tubing, the frame is finished in a mesmerizing and sought-after translucent cromovelato lacquer over a fully polished chrome base.
The bike features signature pantographs, including the "51.151" arrow cast into the fork crown, engraved seat stay caps, and a deeply branded Moser bottom bracket shell. Outfitted with an authentic Campagnolo Super Record groupset, the cockpit features a Cinelli handlebar paired with a black 3TTT stem sporting crisp "F. Moser" pantography and Italian tricolore details. Rolling on vintage Campagnolo Record high-flange hubs laced to hard-anodized Mavic Open 4 CD rims and Pirelli P Zero Race tires, the build is crowned by a white Selle San Marco Rolls saddle, fresh white bar tape, white cable housing, and natural gum hoods. It stands as an exceptional showcase of Italian frame building at the pinnacle of Moser’s racing career.
Condition:
Used. Fully overhauled and professionally serviced at the RSB workshop in Munich. The frame and fork are in excellent structural condition with no dents, cracks, or misalignments. The notoriously delicate cromovelato finish has been remarkably well preserved, displaying brilliant depth and mirror-like gloss with only minimal, authentic signs of age. Mechanically, the bicycle is in flawless condition: bearings have been inspected and adjusted, drivetrain components are meticulously cleaned, and brand new cables, housing, hoods, and bar tape have been fitted. Ready to ride or display in any premier collection.

About me
A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.
In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
