Description:

Although new materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium emerged as genuine alternatives in the mid-1990s, innovations in steel tube shaping continued to be developed. The Tecnos features biconical tubes, which increase in diameter towards the centre. The Tecnos was built with Columbus tubes of the same name, which are made of Nivacrom steel.

Tecnos tubes are special. The biconical down tube has a diameter of 28.6 mm at the head tube, increasing to 35 mm in the middle, before ending with a diameter of 32 mm at the bottom bracket shell. The biconical top tube has a diameter of 25.4 mm at both ends and 28.6 mm in the middle. Both tubes also feature five longitudinal beads to increase the frame's stiffness further.

The frame was constructed using chrome-plated Master lugs. The Tecnos also features a chrome-plated Precisa fork.

Condition:

The bike is in its original condition and has been checked and serviced in our workshop. It is straight with no dents, cracks or damage. The paintwork is in good condition, showing only minor signs of wear. There are a few signs of age on the chrome.

About me

A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.

In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
