Description:

The Colnago Mexico is a legendary masterpiece from the heyday of Italian frame building, forever linked to the historic victories of Giuseppe Saronni. This particular frame, painted in the iconic pearlescent ‘Saronni Red’ colour, features the classic non-squashed chainstays and the late 1980s-style cable routing under the bottom bracket. Interestingly, it comes with the original purchase receipt from 1986, suggesting that it was sold at the time as a sought-after New Old Stock (NOS) frame. To do justice to this historic piece, it has been carefully built to the highest standards with a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset.

Condition:

Used. Completely refurbished and serviced at the RSB workshop in Munich. Frame and fork show no dents or cracks. The glorious Saronni red paint is original and in outstanding condition, displaying a brilliant shine with only very minor signs of its authentic riding history. Mechanically, the bike is in flawless, completely restored condition. The original purchase receipt from 1986 is included in the sale.

About me

A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.

In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
