Description:
Ernesto Colnago, born on February 9, 1932, in Cambiago near Milan, Italy, began his journey into the world of cycling at the age of 13. From the very beginning, he was captivated by bicycles and the spirit of racing. In 1952, he founded the Colnago brand and soon began working as a mechanic for several professional cycling teams. Over the decades, Colnago bicycles have maintained a dominant presence in competitive cycling, driven by Ernesto’s relentless passion for innovation and his pursuit of performance, efficiency, and comfort.
In the early 1980s, responding to feedback about frame stiffness, Ernesto Colnago began experimenting with advanced tubing designs. This led to the creation of the iconic Colnago Master in 1983. Engineered using Columbus Gilco S4 tubing, designed by Gilberto Colombo, the Master featured a unique star-shaped profile in the top, seat, and down tubes, specifically developed to enhance frame rigidity and overall ride performance. The original Colnago Master was produced from 1983 to 1987, followed by the Master Più and Master Olympic models.
Now proudly offering a timeless piece of cycling history: the Colnago Master from 1985, finished in the stunning Saronni Retinato paintjob. This steel racing bicycle is fully equipped with a Campagnolo Super Record groupset, Colnago pantograph Brakeset, San Marco Concor Supercorsa Confort and Mavic Open 4 CD. Every component has been carefully selected to match the prestige and heritage of this Italian masterpiece.
A true collector’s item and a dream ride for Colnago enthusiasts—fully L’Eroica ready and perfect in every detail. Like a fine wine, the Saronni just gets better with age.

About me
A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.
In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
