Overview
The Campagnolo Record Low-Flange Hubset (Mozzi Bassa Flangia) is the timeless benchmark of classic road cycling wheel components. Produced in Vicenza, Italy, during the golden era of steel racing (Nuovo Record / Super Record era), these hubs earned legendary status for their mirror-polished cold-forged alloy barrels, signature oil-hole spring clips, and glass-smooth cup-and-cone bearing raceways.
This matching front and rear 36-hole (36H) hubset is threaded in the globally universal 1.370" x 24 TPI B.S.C. (British Standard Cycle / English / ISO) specification, making it compatible with vintage and contemporary freewheels worldwide. Professionally overhauled at the Real Steel Bikes workshop in Munich—completely disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned, freshly repacked with premium grease, and finely adjusted for velvety, drag-free rotation—this hubset is ready for a pristine bespoke wheel build or period-correct vintage restoration.

faq
Is the bicycle ready to ride & how much assembly is needed?
Yes, 100%. Every bike is completely overhauled, greased, and pre-adjusted in our Munich workshop before dispatch. To pack it securely, we only remove the wheels and pedals and turn the handlebars. Reassembly takes less than 15 minutes with standard Allen keys and a pedal wrench.
Can I view the bike in person or via live video call?
Absolutely. In-person viewings and test rides are available by appointment at our workshop in Munich. For international buyers, we regularly schedule 1-on-1 live video calls (WhatsApp / FaceTime) to walk you through every pantograph, chrome detail, and component in real time.
Are the components authentic and the frame checked for damage?
Yes. We strictly verify frame alignment, tubing sets, and date codes. We guarantee zero structural cracks, deep rust, or dents. Every groupset is inspected for authenticity and disclosed transparently with high-resolution photos.
