Description:

The Campagnolo 50th Anniversary groupset (Gruppo del Cinquantenario) is the absolute icon of bicycle component history. Released in 1983 to commemorate five decades of Campagnolo and honor the legacy of the late Tullio Campagnolo, this limited-edition masterpiece is the premier showcase of classic Italian artistry. Based on the top-tier Super Record group, it features unparalleled attention to detail: every component is meticulously mirror-polished, carrying exclusive anniversary engravings beautifully complemented by genuine 24-karat gold inlays. What truly elevates this specific set, carrying the serial number #10473, is its exceptional and unbroken Munich provenance. Originally purchased in July 1987 at the workshop of the legendary track racer and master frame builder Edi Strobl in Brunnthal, it remains 100% complete with its full factory documentation—including the original stamped dealer coupon, the official factory validation letter from Vicenza, and the blue owner ID card. Housed in its classic blue presentation case with original cables and leather straps, this set is a stunning representative of cycling’s golden age.

Condition:

New Old Stock (NOS). Flawlessly preserved and professionally inspected at the RSB workshop in Munich. The components are in pristine, uninstalled structural condition with absolutely no signs of use, wear, or mounting. The delicate 24k gold accents are perfectly brilliant, and the original brown rubber gum hoods have been beautifully preserved, remaining completely supple with zero cracking or deterioration. The iconic blue thermoformed presentation liner and outer case are fully intact, showing only minor, authentic storage patina on the paper inserts that tell the 39-year story of this set without compromising its stunning visual appeal. Mechanically and aesthetically, the groupset is in flawless, factory-fresh condition.

About me

A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.

In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
