Description:

The Italian manufacturer BASSO was founded in 1981 and quickly gained a reputation for high-quality steel frames. The company was founded by three brothers. Marino was a professional cyclist (sprinter) who won the World Championships in 1972 and numerous podium places in major tours. He brought with him his knowledge of how a bike should feel and his name. Renato was an academic philosopher and was appointed financial manager of the company. The youngest, Alcide, was the one most interested in the technical aspects of bicycle construction and set up the first workshop. Basso is one of the few companies that has kept up with technical developments and is still successfully building frames today.

And here we present a beautiful Basso Loto road bike. It dates from the early 1990s and is based on a frame set that was once the top model in the Basso product line. Columbus SLX tubes with spiral reinforcements and internal cable routing are clear signs of an exceptional frame. As for the groupset, the race-proven Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 series guarantees fast gear changes and an overall great riding experience.

The bike is in very good used condition. The frame is free of cracks, dents, and bends. The stickers and paint are original. This bike has undergone a complete inspection and restoration. About me

A few years ago I caught the cycling bug.
It all started when I wanted to sell my old everyday racer because I simply didn't like it anymore.
But when I realized that it only needed cosmetic surgery, my love for my work with bicycles began.

In the meantime, I have given a new life to several bikes and helped many enthusiasts to get a good bike.
