Overview

The Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra stands as an undisputed icon of bicycle racing history and the benchmark of professional steel frame engineering. Masterfully handcrafted in Meise, Belgium, under the supervision of "The Cannibal" himself, the Corsa Extra was built from legendary Columbus SLX tubing—renowned for its internal spiral helical reinforcements designed to deliver maximum bottom bracket stiffness under violent sprinting power.

Dating to the early 1990s, this thoroughbred bridges classic steel heritage with modern shifting performance. It is equipped with a complete, period-correct Campagnolo Chorus 8-speed Ergopower groupset, featuring integrated shift/brake levers and the sculptural Chorus Monoplaner brake calipers, celebrated by connoisseurs worldwide for their jewel-like aesthetics and commanding modulation. Rolling on robust hard-anodized Condorio RS 200 clincher rims wrapped in brand-new Pirelli P Zero Race Classic tanwall tires, an Italian 3ttt cockpit, and a classic white Selle San Marco Rolls leather saddle, this Corsa Extra is fully workshop-overhauled in Munich and ready for fast tarmac or vintage gran fondos.

FAQ
