Overview

Introduced in 1993 as Campagnolo's premier World Cup-level off-road group, the Campagnolo Record O.R. (frequently referred to by connoisseurs as Super Record O.R.) triple crankset represents the ultimate zenith of Italian mountain bike engineering. Crafted to rival the finest professional drivetrains of the 1990s, it combined cold-forged duralumin construction with high-luster mirror polishing and surgical shifting precision.

This particular crankset features Campagnolo's innovative Compact Drive ATB gearing (42-32-20T), utilizing an exclusive lockring interface that enabled an ultra-low 20-tooth granny ring for conquering extreme ascents. Preserved in very good pre-owned condition with crisp stamped winged shield logos, classic 175 mm arm length, and both original integrated Campagnolo self-extracting crank bolts, this elusive drivetrain centerpiece is the definitive period-correct component for world-class vintage mountain bike builds (such as Bianchi Cr-Mo, Merlin Titanium, Fat Chance Yo Eddy, or Breezer).

FAQ
